Day 1 – Hello Singapore

On Dec 16th, my family and I left Brunei for South Korea on Singapore Airlines instead of using Royal Brunei Airlines because there is no direct flight from Brunei to SK. This is funny, because it means we have to go south first before going up north again.

The flight to Singapore took almost 2 hours and honestly, it wasn’t much of a pleasant flight due to the air turbulence and air pockets. I forgot how nervous I get everytime I fly and this was no exception. When we landed, I got all emotional because this was my first return visit to Singapore after 20-odd years.

We had about 6 hours before our next flight to SK so in the mean time, we went out to explore Singapore City.

Compared to Brunei International Airport, the Changi Airport is frigging huge. By the time I finished touring the entire complex, my feet were aching badly. 🙁

We eventually left Singapore around 12.30am. I was already too exhausted at this point so during the entire flight I was fast asleep and only woke up for breakfast. XD
