Courage and hope

I haven’t mentioned this before but this actually happened on the day of my graduation. I finally confessed to my parents about Leon and mine’s relationship. I broke the news to them after the photo-taking session and it was in a public place. Leon was also there with me to give his support. Luckily my parents didn’t get into a fit (the fact that we were in a public probably contributed to that) and their only reaction was, “oh okay.” My dad didn’t seem too surprised about it, he probably had pieced together the hints already since he’s seen Leon and I together a lot of times before. My mom, on the other hand, doesn’t seem too happy about it. I’m hoping my parents won’t be too critical over this. I know they’re concerned about my future but it’s my life and I’m the one who should make the decisions. Even if I get hurt, at least it was my choice and I don’t have to blame anyone.

The reason why I’m blogging about it now is because it has occurred to me that this decision I made was something I never thought I would ever have the courage to do. Yay I finally had the guts!

Thanks to those who commented on my revamped portfolio site. Glad you guys liked it. /love

To end this post, I’d like to share this thing with you guys; I came across this meme on a website the other day and decided to do it myself. :p
