Last Saturday was the last day of my work attachment (teaching practice). It feels incredibly good after 14 weeks of hard work and losing sleep. The most stressful thing about the teaching practice is that you need to think of a multitude of methods on how to make the learning experience satisfying and memorable to the students. It’s not a big deal for those who are gifted with creative minds because they can come up with brilliant ideas on how to deliver the lesson content. But for me, I normally have to spend ungodly hours just to think up of one activity for the class. I worked my ass off until 3 o’clock in the morning, went to sleep, then woke up again at 6AM. Imagine yourself doing this for about 3-4 times per week. I’m surprised I didn’t die of physical exhaustion and mental fatigue.
But anyway, let’s put that to the past. I can finally concentrate on my online life again since I have over 3 months of holidays before the graduation ceremony. I haven’t been talking to my online friends nor visiting their sites in a long time. I’m not 100% back on the net, though, I still have a lot of other things to sort out and deal with, like working on the proposal for my Masters application and looking for a temporary job.
As mentioned in a previous post, I lost the domain amalina.org because I was too late to renew it, however, a few days ago I was able to re-purchase it. It’s now a parked domain under kitty-kat.org. /love
I have also taken to learning how to play the keyboard. It’s not easy, since I have no formal music training so Leon is helping me out with it. At the same time I also make use a program called Synthesia to assist me with the training. I’ve yet to learn how to read the piano notes, but I’ve decided to do that later since I don’t think I can take in too much of learning in one time. 🙂
And oh, Happy Easter to everyone! Here’s a photo of my Bunny plushie. 🙂
