Schools out and I’m finally able to get a breather. But I still need to catch up with a few things and then there’s also the graduation gown fitting. The ceremony is in September but the university insisted on everyone to get the gown done as soon as possible. I planned to just gonna rent the bloody thing because it costs so much to buy one (around $600) but my parents insist on buying it for me. It’s really a relief and a blessing to have parents who would do that for me even though technically I could pay for the gown myself. /love
I’ve gone back to reading one of my favourite manga, Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken again. It’s been years since the last time I read it. The first time I picked up the manga was over 10 years ago when I was still in primary school (that’s elementary school for the Americans). I’ve enjoyed reading manga for the past couple of years but I’m quite picky as to what genre I read. One genre that I try to avoid is romance. Romance in manga weird me out. I’m not referring to bizarre sexual orientations but more towards the sexual innuendos depicted in the manga. In some instances, they show hints of deep affections that sometimes lean towards obsession, and that’s what truly freaks me out.
Random Rants is finally back from unannounced hiatus. The website has lain dormant for some time because the domain has expired and I wasn’t able to renew it on time. I had to use a new domain for it (luckily I have one that is unused) and now the website is up and running again. 🙂
