If you remember, I mentioned in the previous post I’ve been reading manga and watching anime because I can’t be bothered to find anything more productive to do on the internet so here I’m sharing one of the manga: Samurai Deeper Kyo.

This series has to be one of my favourite manga around. Samurai Deeper Kyo is historical fiction manga based on the samurai era during the Tokugawa shogunate era. The story began after the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. What I like best about this series is the twist and turn of the plot that keeps you entertained. It’s like when you’re watching a movie and at the end of it there’s a cliff-hanger moment that makes you say, “Argh! What’s gonna happen?” and that makes you want to watch the sequel/follow-up.
In the case of the anime, I’ll be completely honest with you, it is nowhere as good as the manga. It lacks the depth of the plot lines in the manga. It’s a good anime if you didn’t read the manga first. Anyway, you might have a different opinion.
Site-wise, I’ve finally got the confidence to cancel the hosting for Chibiholic.net. I feared I have lost the interest in maintaining the site and domain. I’m a bit sad to let it go as it was the first domain I own. Ah well, one has to move on eventually. The domain is still accessible for the time being but I’ve removed all the contents and I’m just waiting for my host for that domain to take down the rest.
