WordPress is giving me a hard time. I made a draft for a new blog post yesterday and saved it but somehow today, when I wanted to publish it, it was gone. I couldn’t comprehend how it happened. Luckily for me, I somehow accidentally clicked the publish button and it was passed to the RSS Feed. I simply copy-and-pasted the whole entry from the feed into this post.
Anyway, I lost my ring. To be specific, the ring that Leon gave me for our first-year anniversary is lost. I don’t know where I misplaced it and honestly, I don’t even remember if I ever took it off from my finger. 😥
A lot of us own websites. In fact, many of those people who surf the net would have at least, made an imprint of their existence on the web. Whether it is only a page on the social networking sites, you have made a mark on the world wide web. Of course some people love the internet more than others. And these people are those who dedicate a lot of their time to make their presence in the internet more solid and strong.
As for myself, I love the world wide web. And for that love, I take up things that I never thought I’d be able to do. I learnt to code a website, learnt to do a little bit of designing and the most important thing, I made friends. I never thought I’d met a lot of awesome people on the net whom I could share and get inspirations from.
I dream to find a job in webdesign field but as far as I can see, it is something that I cannot achieve even if it is possible. I have dedicated my life into the teaching profession and it seems there is no more room for me to choose another path. I could perhaps, take a Masters in web development, but only if I can financially afford it. I realise that there are many opportunities for web designers to be able to find jobs in the country’s market. The other day I was browsing through a couple of local online companies that are looking for web designers. The sheer number of vacancies makes me feel that Brunei is lacking people in the web development field. It would be nice if I could find a job related to it. But as I said, I don’t think I will be able to.
I plan to throw a birthday giveaway again soon. This is to mark my, ahem, 24th birthday which is exactly in 3 weeks time. I have not planned out the details because I’m still busy with the teaching attachment so I probably will work this out at the end of this week.
