unlocked phones are awesome. You can use them with any GSM service providers in the world and not just tied to specific provider(s). Before, I never knew what are the difference between locked and unlocked phones. I’d thought locked phones meant phones that had never been used before and unlocked meant phones that had been used (second-hand phones). LOL.
