Say hello to Nekonette‘s latest layout. This new layout was heavily inspired from my scrapbooking materials as well as a design I saw on a web design magazine. I must say this is one of my best attempts in creating layouts. It took me about 4 days to complete the whole design as well as the coding. The arrangements of the texts are pretty much the same as before even though I moved around, added in and removed some stuff from the sidebar.
The font-fill for the word ‘Nekonette’ on the header was actually a scanned picture of blue felt. The cupcakes above and the trees on the footer were all scanned from my scrapbook stickers. The white lace was a stock photo from the magazine. The rest of the images were created using Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. So anyways, I hope you guys like it as much as I do. But I still need to do some tweaking here and there to fix anything that comes out odd.
I shall reply to all the comments soon, I promise that. I know I’ve been falling behind in returning them lately; my days have been filled by a lot of stuff like making new layouts for both Nekonette and Chibiholic, editing the blog script for Chibiholic and making some designs for my art portfolio. And there’s my offline life to sort out. The final week of the holidays is really pushing my limit. o_O
On a positive note, I passed my exams! Woohoo! Over the holidays I was dreading about the results. I wasn’t confident whether I would make it through. I was especially fearing the paper on the Themes in American History. Seriously, the paper was really difficult and though the paper was supposed to be 3 hours long, I only sat for it for one and half hour before giving up and left the exam hall. I never did that before, that’s how tough the questions were. 😥 I could have sworn I flunked the paper but good thing I passed it. :phew:
