My half-semester break is over and now I’m back in university again. Honestly, the holidays didn’t feel like holidays. I still had to come to the university to attend some classes.
This second half of the semester is going to be a busy time for me. Works are piling up, and so are presentations. Lots of pressure, that’s for sure.
Site-wise, I’m sure you’ve noticed the new layout. This layout is a little simpler than the previous one, but that’s mostly due to my laziness and the lack of inspirations. Some people have expressed their liking to the layout and I’m pretty much satisfied with that.
So far I have around 10 people participating in the White Valentine’s Day Writing Contest. It was rather unexpected and I’m glad that many people have taken interest in this contest. Not bad for Nekonette‘s first contest. LOL! 3 more days left before the registration for the contest is closed and 4 more days to submit your entry. So if you plan to join the contest, you still have some time.

Ugh, why did you have to be in school so much during the holidays? That really doesn’t even count as a holiday. That’s not fair. XP
My spring break is coming up in a week and a half, and it’s going to be about two and a half weeks long. I can’t wait! I haven’t had fun in so long, I’m really missing hanging out with my friends and I’m looking forward to being out of the house a bunch. Like being a party animal, haha (so funny for me to say because I normally don’t like going out much). Plus I don’t know when I’ve looked forward this much to a school break. I’ve never hated a class as much as this geography one.
Ah, and I forgot to tell you that in my geography studies, I learned where Brunei is. :)
Oh. We must have different school years because my summer break (of two months) is about to start. I understand what you mean about break not feeling like break. Several of my friends won’t even get to go home because their course requires them to take summer classes in order for them to finish in time for graduation in four years.
I’ve already told you what I think about the layout, so yay :D
And ten people? Whoa! That’s awesome :D I’m glad it’s doing well, especially (as you mentioned) that it’s the first one you’ve done here. As it’s almost my finals I can’t participate as I’d like to but I wish luck to all those who joined and I look forward to seeing the winners :)

there has been a lot of stuff going on recently.
the thing is, my uncle had died. he was living here, but died in the philippines on vacation. and then things had happen where my brother & dad had to fly back and stuff, so i was so busy but i’m really sorry that i wasn’t able to go through my comments,

Actually, Brunei was big enough for me to see on the map I was studying from! …Although it was just a map of that area of the world, but still. ;) I couldn’t see Singapore at ALL… but I still had to know where it was. It was ridiculous, because I was studying from a flash game online where it tells you the country and you click on it, and I couldn’t find it! The only way I found it (Singapore) was by slowly moving my mouse over the image until the cursor changed to the hand. XP

I, too, have to say that I wouldn’t even consider it to be a holiday if I had to still go to even just one out of the four classes I’m in. Or rather WAS in.
And you would have had an 11th entry had I actually written something. I was totally down to enter the contest, but I told myself not to enter unless I could have something written before even registering. That was the only way I knew I’d not miss a deadline was by having my answer already written as I signed up. :/
As for the layout, it may be simple, but it’s still really cute. Sometimes less is best. XD

I feel like that sometimes. Usually it’s the holidays but since I just have to get some schoolwork done, I end up not enjoying it and time just FLIES. Before I know it, it’s back to school again -_- Good thing i’m graduating next Sunday, though. I can’t wait!
