I’ve been busy with my new job lately. I only get one free day per week, and that is on Monday. I seriously hope they’re not going to take my Monday off too because then I’ll be damn pissed off. It’s a good job, tutoring kids but you do need to have some time off to enjoy yourself. Money is important, but it is not everything (some can argue that though).
Anyway, I’m working my ass off so that by 2016 I’d have enough dosh to get myself a spot on the a luxury ship on its maiden voyage. In case you haven’t heard, Clive Palmer, an Australian billionaire is commissioning a Chinese state-owned company to build a replica of the famous Titanic, and the ship is going to be named as Titanic II. I don’t know if this is for real or not but people have been saying that the ship is set to sail in 2016. This news definitely has caused such a popular response on Twitter and it even had become one of the trending topics. If this is true, I am tempted to get myself a spot on that ship. I think it’ll be fun, provided it doesn’t crash into anything this time. Though the tickets would probably cost a fortune, even for the third class. But come to think of it, who would want to stay in the third class section? Sharing a room that only has enough space for bunk beds and even that, you’d have to share it with a couple of people. Definitely not my kind of holiday cruise. And as a safety precaution, will someone build Carpathia II and get it to tail Titanic II throughout the journey, just in case..
Another news is that, I am finally being accepted for the Masters degree programme I applied last year. Leon came to see me with the offer letter and told me he’s been accepted too. Well, looks like both of us are going back to being students again. Oh wait, now I am going to be both a tutor and a (graduate) student.

I heard about that on the news too, I think a few days ago or something like that.
Hopefully with your new job and school, you’ll be able to balance the two—I’m sure planning your schedule for tutoring is enough right now, and on top of it when school starts—it’ll be super hectic.

I’m not sure that it is though, I haven’t heard anything about it on the news, at least not yet, and one would think that the news would have that kind of information. hahaha.

I haven’t heard of Titanic II before, but it seems interesting. Whenever I go on a holiday, I’ll go with my family of five, which means that tickets for every one of us would be real expensive.
There’s a Titanic exhibition in Singapore, I think, but I’m not sure if it has closed. The television advertisement seems good, though. Hmm.
