//EDITED ON 10-08-2010
It was my birthday on the 9th. I’ll write a post on it on my other blog.
I’m planning to watch The Expendables. Normally I’m not interested in this kind of action movies but since there’re a lot of prominent names in the film, my guess it will probably be worth watching.

The Expendables
For months I have been considering to get myself an iPhone, but after knowing that Flash is not supported by Apple, I am not entirely sure anymore. I know iPhone is a great gadget but with a lot of current sites using Flash such as design websites and a lot of MMORPG games (or those mini games on Facebook), it is a tough choice for me. But I guess it is a lot tougher for Apple and Adobe. The Apple-Adobe debate has been escalating in the recent weeks, with supporters on both sides are getting more and more fidgety in their seats and have been passing love/hate notes to each other. I’d probably end up getting it anyway someday.
Something’s wrong with the Comment Luv plugin and I can’t figure out what it is. The plugin works charmingly on Google Chrome but it appears to be broken if you are viewing this site using Firefox or Opera. I’ve yet to bring this issue to the plugin developer but for now, I’m just gonna settle with this semi-faulty one.
I’ve decided to call off the birthday contest. I didn’t expect I would be so overwhelmed with other things. Plus the Fasting month is coming up very soon so I will be doing a lot of offline chores. I might, perhaps defer the contest to December since I will have lots of free time then. I am incredibly sorry to those who have been waiting for this contest (if anyone actually does) but as I said, I’ll make it up to you in December. /glad
On a different note, I already have a presentation to be prepare for. The presentation will be on the coming Wednesday for the Islam in Southeast Asia course. Let’s just say this is one of weakest area and I’m not very keen to do it. It could be a touchy subject and I very much would like to keep it as differential as possible. I’m actually more looking forward to doing the other course, which deals with European histories, or maybe even on the modern East Asia. I’ve been doing Southeast Asia histories for several semesters and it has gotten to the point where one would say, “Can we do something else other than Southeast Asia history!?” or “Don’t you think it’s time to move on!?”

The trailers for The Expendables are kind of silly–they are promoting it as the “manliest movie ever mad.”
If I could, I would get an Iphone… you can still watch Youtube through an app and they have a lot of cool game apps, you should check some of them out.

Hey Kit! ^^
Yeah, Ramadan is fast approaching. ^^ It feels really different when it’s Ramadan. ^^
iPhone, I’m wishing to have one too. ^^ But I quiet sure that it’s far from possible. /ugh
I’m planning to hold a contest on Cutescape but I’m thinking twice if I should pursue it this month. I feel like everybody is busy. =\\

ooh! i love your new emoticons … they’re soooo cute!
i don’t know if i’d wanna see the expendables myself, but a friend of mine said i should consider going to see salt with angelina jolie or the other guys with will ferrell and mark wahlberg.
while there’s nothing wrong with southeast asia studies — i’m sure your mind can only handle so much in several semesters (if it’s back-to-back). my brain would probably become stagnant by after the 2nd time in one year.

I’ll give it another try and see if it works out, but if it doesn’t, would you be willing to attempt to help me if I give you a screenshot of the messed-up layout a copy of the comments.php?
My ballroom dance professor ages ago taught us how to modify the moves so they would be appropriate in a club… which I thought was kind of weird. In a lot of moves, the follow straightens her arm out in the air, right? Apparently, in the club, you… bend your hand a bit, I think. o_O
I haven’t heard anything about The Expendables, so I have no clue what it’s about, but Donny (Mom’s boyfriend) wants to see it, I think….

When the iPhone first came out I was more on the want-it side just because so many people were itching to get it & people who got the thing were envied by everyone else at first. The down side is not only the Flash issue but that the service is strictly AT&T unless you know soneone who is willing to hack it to change the wireless service, and it can’t be changed to Verizon wireless. At least that’s one of the biggest cons to the iphone when it comes to my hometown and surrounding townships. ^^;

I missed your birthday by 47 minutes my time. D: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, KITTY!!!
How would I send you all the theme’s files? :s *feels like a n00b*
Ugh, I found something that allowed comments on the pages without messing up the layout on the ones I don’t have comments enabled on, but instead of saying “Comments are closed,” it says “No comments”. >_>

I couldn’t see how to fix it in the comments.php file. D: I’ll go download the stuff and e-mail it to you. *hugs and gives lots of love*
I was going to wish you a nice day, but according to Google, it’s late afternoon and your day is probably halfway over. XD Still, I will wish you a nice rest of the day and hope that you had a good day earlier. ^_^

mmorpg games on a little iphone? lol, i didn’t even know they made apps like that, but that’s pretty cool.
(even though it’s not supported on the iphone, heh) my problem with the iphone is the provider, but i’ve read that verizon might be available soon. anyway, if you happen to get one, make sure to review it and tell us how much you love it! (i think it’d be pretty awesome regardless of the flash)
good luck on your presentation!

I have an iPhone 3G and to be honest, it isn’t that great. It’s really slow, but the iPhone 3GS & 4 is much better. Personally I would get an android phone instead. There’s more and more android apps now. It might even beat the apple app store eventually.
Comment luv didn’t really work properly for me, and I never really use it. I eventually removed it from my blog.

I don’t know why, but I feel like seeing that movie as well. I’m not even in to that kind of thing. I guess it’s because it promises to be the ultimate action movie with all those big name people?
I’m not good with tech stuff, so I don’t have much of an opinion on whether you should get the iPhone or not. I personally want a Droid. My dad has one and it’s pretty cool. I don’t know if supports flash or not, but I wouldn’t be too worried about that. Your phone wouldn’t replace your computer, so you could probably just wait to view flash sites until you can get to your computer.
I hate learning about the same thing for too long. All my life they’ve been pushing US History on me. I have to take it for both semesters this year. I can’t imagine there is anything else I need to know, but apparently there is. Good luck with your presentation!
